Fall Steelhead '09

Jon and Rick made the trek north to Salmon, Idaho for a very successful steelhead trip.  The fish were plentiful and the weather cooperated to make it a fabulous weekend.  Here's just a few shots of the many fish they caught and the beautiful surrounding Salmon river in the fall!

As a side note, Rock was not able to join the brothers on this trip.  He was hit with the swine flu!  Jon and Rick missed having him along and promise to let him catch the first spring steelhead!

Hoggle Zoo with Grandma Margaret

Grandma Margaret came down to visit and we all went to the zoo.  She had not yet seen all the darling baby animals we have at the Hoggle Zoo and Jon had gone steelhead fishing. It was a beautiful day! 

Zuri, the baby elephant, was really fun to watch!  She would run, fall down, kick up dirt, and knock over her bowl.  We could have spent the entire afternoon watching her!  :-)

Halloween Spooks Come Out Tonight!!!

The Hidden Springs Cove Tricker Treating Gang:

It did not take long for Eden to figure it all out.  She would jump out of the wagon, grab her bag, and race to catch up with the big kids at every door. When families offered her a choice from their treat bowl, she would take the biggest handfulls you've ever seen!  It was hysterical!

Eden and her GaGa

Grandma Margaret has been out of town recently so the kids haven't seen her for a few weeks.  Saturday morning over the phone Eden told her, "GaGa, you come home!"  That comment must have melted her  because she showed up a few hours later and Eden hardly left her side. Stephanie also came to help out with our pumpkin carving and we all had a fun Halloween day preparing for the big night!
