More Disneyland...

Crowds were pretty thin Monday morning at D-land.  (cricket sound effects here).  Seriously, we just got there when they first opened, and were roped off before the mad rush to Sleeping Beauty's Castle.
Here's our family waiting for the park to open....  Ready, set, run, ride, run...
After flying on Peter Pan, we visited Dumbo the Elephant.  Eden was really happy to be on the "pink one!" Daddy was ok with it too.  He's got a handle on his masculinity.
Quinton was also OK with riding a yellow Dumbo.  Like father, like son...
Up, up and away!
The boys and I jumped on the Matterhorn. Too bad, I came off with a headache!  It was a real one too, I didn't even have to fake it, Jon!
There is always a parade at Disneyland.  Today's parade was a mother duck and her ducklings.  So cute! Jon was scrambling for his shotgun.
Eden waiting for her brothers and daddy on Indiana Jones.  Doesn't she look great on that fake rock???

Winnie the Pooh
and Eeyore, too!
(A new favorite of Eden's)
Pooh's honey stash!
Eden meets Mickey.
It was the most darling moment!  We had a private room with Mickey and she walked right into his arms!  Awe, she then said, "It's nice to meet you!"
(FYI:  Eden is a serious Mickey and Minnie fan.  She's seen them at Disney on Ice and on TV.  Before we left home she dressed up in her Minnie dress and watched them on TV over and over and over and... Meeting them were the highlights of Eden's Disney trip!!!)
The family posing with Disney's poster child -
Mickey Mouse!
Again, soooo darling!  Eden hugged Minnie Mouse so tight and repeated her greeting, "It's nice to meet you!"
Minnie signed Eden's autograph book:
"Eden, Welcome to my house, Minnie Mouse"
After meeting her Minnie placed her hand on my arm and gestured at me with both hands over her heart and leaned towards Eden.  Minnie had felt the love! It was a perfect parental moment!

Toone Town
We ended the day with a visit to the Downtown Disney Lego store.  It was Quinton's favorite shopping spot.  Here he is with a life sized Darth Vadar!
Cool!!!

We're Going to Disneyland!!!

The McFarland's have arrived!  After 10 1/2 hours in the car, one throw up incident, loads of junk food, many fights and flat out bribery for good behavior, we've finally made it. It may be late Sunday afternoon, but we're headed over to the park...Look out Disney...

First Ride: The Jungle Cruise
Brothers
Heading for Pirates of the Carabean
"Yo ho, Yo ho, a pirate's life for me"
"Here doggy"
"I'm Captain Jack Sparrow mate!"
Waiting for the parade to start.
A first glace at Mickey Mouse, and
Minnie Mouse.
She waved good bye to Mickey, but was really sad that he didn't stay around to meet her.
Playing with Quinton while waiting in line for Nemo!
There is always time to dance!!!
Especially, when you're wearing your dancin' shoes, and in the 'Happiest Place on Earth!!!"

Quinton with double fisted blaster's fights the evil emperior Zurg!
Carson blasts away at those pesky alien toys and saves Buzz Lightyear!
Oooo, Awe,.. the fireworks complete our first night at the park.

Eden's Preschool Mother's Day Party

Eden's preschool held a Mother's Day party and program just before Mother's Day.  She started by showing off on her favorite school trike!  She really rides well for her age.  I wish the video of her riding would upload, she was screaming around the room on that bike showing off for her Daddy!
Don't you just love girls with fairy wings?
We played "Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes", and
"London Bridges".
Here's her class singing one of many cute springs songs.
She then brought her mom a darling card and flower for Mother's Day.
She showed her Dad how small the preschool chairs are.
And, gave Miss Sharron lots of love and hugs.  It was an adorable party and program!

Eden Has a Big Girl Bed!

Eden moved into a toddler bed in April.  It was the funniest thing to watch her put every one of her toys and dolls into the new bed.  She has made the transfer really well and generally stays in bed all night!  Hurray for Big Girls!!!
