Cub Scout Pine Wood Derby

Quinton and Jon built their first Pine Wood Derby car and participated in the annual 6th Ward Pine Wood Derby race. Jon wanted to build the perfect car for Quinton. He spent hours on it not to mention the money he spent at the scouting store buying all the right tools and decals!!!! Who knew you could put that much into the free car kit the scout leader gave Quinton?                     ...Not me anyway!!!

Quinton looks so proud here showing off his car.  He achieved his Wolf patch that night and is now a Bear Cub Scout...Isn't he handsome in his uniform?

Quinton's car is the 2nd from the top.  Isn't it cool? Heck, they are all cool!!!

Although they didn't place this year, both Jon and Quinton learned a lot and had a great time!  Jon's all ready for next year and helping Carson in a few years!
