As is our tradition, the McFarland's hosted our Christmas Eve Fondue party. My family has been making fondue on Christmas Eve for nearly as far back as I can remember. This year was really special because Erik, Kaycee and Jayden came from Boise to spend the holiday with us! We were so touched that they chose to spend the holiday in Utah, and it had been about 17 years since Jon had spent a Christmas with Erik. Here's a look at the pictures and guests at our party:
Cidny, Jeanie, Shara, and Kira
Erik and Kaycee
(See that little bump on Kaycee... She's pregnant with our 2nd little grandbaby. Its due on Jayden's birthday June 5th!!! We can hardly wait!!!)
During this party, I put everyone to work. All of the food needs to be fresh sliced, grated or cooked, so we end up with a kitched full of cooks. Its fun and very busy!!!
Kaycee and Kira
Jon and Rhett
Jeanie brought Jon this silly, music playing, dancing hat. He wore it with great cheer all night!
Margaret and Jon
Jayden, Grandpa and Eden.
(Jayden hated Grandpa's hat and kept knocking it off!)
Eden and Jayden started in early sampling the food. Although, watching them use the fondue forks was a little scary!
Let the feast begin!
And they'd feast, and they'd feast, and they'd feast, feast, feast...
Kira and Brent
(Kira and Brent are also expecting a new baby in late June next year! Its so fun to know that our family is growing with little bundles of joy in the new year!!!)
Erik and Kaycee
Shara and Jeanie

Rock and Rhett... full to the brim!
Mackenzie and Jon
She just had her wisdom teeth pulled and was not a 100%.
After the party, the kids all opened their Christmas PJs...
In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there...
Even Kaycee and I got caught in our PJs.
Happy Christmas to all and to all a Good Night!!!
