Carson and Eden Arrive at Sea World
On Wednesday, we took a charter bus to San Diego and visited Sea World. The bus ride was not as carefree and fun as I had thought it would be, but the kids met lots of other children on the way. Eden's big thing was telling these kids that her name was "Bob" ??? Where she came up with this is beyond me, but she was hysterical.
We went to see the Sting Rays first.
Then we went to Shamu stadium to see the killer whales!
Eden loved it!!!
Those are our two blond boys in the lower right corner with their shirts off in the Splash Zone.
They actually didn't get as wet as they had hoped, but they sure wanted to see how cold the water was!
Buluga Whale
We were told that it was rare to catch the lazy polar bears awake. Not only were they awake, but they were right next to the glass in their exhibit. My pictures are funny due to the relections of our kids on the glass, but it was thrilling for them to see the bears!!!
Silly Polar Bears in their den...
Silly Carson in a Polar Bear den!
Dah, Dah, Dah,
"My, what big teeth you have!!!"
We love the flamingo's!
Sea Turtles
Star fish in the tide pools!
A Grouper and a Carson, both rare and unique!
We all got to feed a very friendly dolphin. The kids were thrilled!
Flipper had a great smile for us after we had given him the snack!
Jon and the boys rode Journey to Atlantis!
While the boys were getting wet, Eden caught a much needed snooze with her new polar bear.
Q and C went twice more without their dad. They were soaked and froze all the way back to Orange County, but had a ball!!!
A blast was had by all!!!
