Swimming in the FireHole river is always a highlight of the Yellowstone experience! The water has been slightly warmed by the geothermal springs that empty into the river from above, but it's still chilly!!! The boys thought this was a fabulous experience. Carson said, "That's the coldest river I've ever swam in!" Dude, that's the only river you've ever swam in.
This is the FireHole cascades just a few hundered feet below the swimming hole. Beautiful!!!
She's is going to make certain that she does everything the boys do. There's no stopping her!
Yes, mom got in! But afterwards, my fingers would not thaw out. They were numb for hours!!!
Actually, it's not that bad, I was just really cold the whole trip.
There were spots where the kids (and Jon) could jump in off big rocks in the river.
Here's a nice rainbow trout that Eden and I watched from the shore.
We also watched a darling "chickmunk!"
Fun, fun, fun!!!
