Fish Lake and Capital Reef Camping

Good Morning Campers! Here's the gang waking up after spending our first night in our new/used trailer. Hey, we're just happy to be camping again.

Capital Reef was so very beautiful! We had not visited the area for years and we had forgotten how beautiful and majestic the area is.

Jeff and Debbie Bartow joined us for the trip. They brought their darling grandson, Oliver, for Eden to play with. They became great friends when not fighting over a toy! She just kept calling him Jayden :).

I loved the contrast of the dead trees in the beautiful canyon. The fam was a little tired of me photographing all those trees, but I was holding the camera. ;o)

While on a short hike, we were sprinkled on by a small rain storm. However, we were soon reminded of the unpredictablity of the area when that small storm filled all the dry river beds and created a torrent of water racing down the canyon.

Here's Jeff's Hummer pushing through the runnoff.
Cool Dude!

Carson became a little annoyed with Mom taking so many pictures. So he drew this picture of Mom. Silly boy!!!

This beautiful rainbow appeared after the storm while we were driving back to camp.
It was a great Labor Day weekend!
