Eden's PreSchool Halloween Party

Fairy Princess Eden Belle had a preschool Halloween parade and party!  She was a little short on smiles, but looked darling. She loves her little Winner School class and asks me every night when I put her to bed, "I go to preschool tomorrow?" Its been a great experience for her to play with other two year olds.

Here comes the fairy princess now with her teacher, Miss Sharon, in the parade.

Bippity Boppity Boo!!!

Every fairy must proudly show off her wings!

Could these little 2 year olds in costumes be any cuter?  They are all trying to sing their Halloween songs.  But having moms and dads watching, seemed to have quieted most of them down.

Fairy glamour shot!

They made these darling treat bags and had a really fun party.

Halloween Parades and Parties

Anakin Skywalker and Darth Vader
Quinton and Carson had their Halloween parties and parades at school today.  They chose cool Star Wars  costumes.  I think the light sabers are the real incentive behind these costumes, but regarless they looked great :o) !!!!

The force is strong with you my young padawon!

Turn to the dark side!

Darth your helmet is so big!

Darth with his 3rd grade class in the parade.

Darth Vader and Yoda (Anthony) arch enemies!
"Yoda, wipe that smile off your face, you should."

Anakin with his 1st grade class.

Its hard to look serious as a Jedi when you're having a wardrobe malfunction.  Anakin lost his belt half way through the parade.  Good thing mom was nearby to repair things.

Carson and his classmate Ashley
For Carson's class Halloween party, I brought sugar pumpkin cookies for the kids to frost and decorate. It was a kick to see all the cute costumes and hear the funny things that 1st graders say.  Seriously, volunteering in the class is eye opening to say the least.  A few of the kids had never frosted cookies before :-( ! One little boy said his mom had never made cookies.  I'm greatful everyday that I'm able to stay home with my kids and hopefully make special memories with them.

More of Carson's classmates, Shaylee, JJ and Seth decorating their cookies.  Isn't Shaylee's costume and make up scary!                                              Boo!

First Snow Day

Quinton, Jack, Eden, Sam and Carson with the foundation for a snow fort...well almost!
The first day of snow is always so exciting for our kids.  They race to put on all their snow gear, gloves, hats and scarves.  Play 'til they are soaked clear through. Drip snow (and on this day grass) back into the house multiple times.  They start complaining that they are freezing.  Drop their wet clothes EVERYWHERE. Then wait anxiously for hot chocolate with marshmellows.  Yum!!!
We were pleased to have our cute friends, Jack and Sam Chytraus, visiting.  They moved away a few months ago, and the boys were delighted to have their old friends join them for the snow day play.

Quinton with a nice fresh pile!

Eden Margaret Elizabeth.  Polka Dot Fashionista!

Carson Patrick eating some genuine, authentic, award winning, blue ribbon Utah powder....well slush!  I hope it's not yellow!!!

Our friends: Jack and Sam, and neighbor Tayci and ChoCho Hoskins
Don't you just love Carson and Eden's hats?
Let it snow, let is snow, let it snow!!!

Stephanie and Brad Babysitting

Steph and Eden
Last weekend, Jon and I went to a concert in Wendover.  We knew we would be gone until really late, and were lucky enough to recruit Stephanie and Brad to babysit for us.  We had high hopes that they (the kids) would behave! ...
On Saturday morning, Stephanie posted on  facebook the most adorable pictures of the evening. I just couldn't resist stealing some of the pictures for our blog.  It was really sweet to read the funny captions that she posted about the kids, and I'm going to use the same messages here.  So, here's Stephanie's comments and pictures about her brothers and sister:

Two little toe heads

Eden on the slide.  Are her jeans adorable or what?  I want a pair!!

I thought they might puke, he (Brad) spun them so fast!

Bradley & Zoey...LOL

Brad is so adorable with kids.

"Higho Bwad!, Higho!"

Carson Patrick

I love this awesome action shot! lol ;-)

Tiny little Zoey!

Quinton in his Halloween jammies!

Edie in Stephie's shoes...Notice the pink toenail polish! She was really proud of them.

I took out her piggy tails and her hair went wild! But could she be any cuter?

cheez!

Seesters

Thanks a million for babysitting Steph and Brad! The kids had a great time with you. I hope you don't mind my plagiarism and my overlooking any photo copyrights :o). The kids really enjoyed reading and looking at your post Saturday morning! Love ya!!!!

Carson Loses His First Tooth

Yup, it finally happened.  Carson lost a tooth!  He has been waiting for this big day for more than a year.  When his classmates started losing them in kindergarten, he just couldn't stand the wait. Anyhow, he lost his tooth through a rather crazy accident.  Oh, the tooth had been loose for a while, and we'd been making sure he ate lots of apples to continue loosening it up.  But, I never would have predicted that the tooth would get knocked out by Quinton kicking him in the face!!! They were really just playing or wrestling on the floor, when Q happened to kick him.  Carson didn't know whether to laugh or cry when he reached inside his mouth and took out the tooth!
Now, that's a story they won't soon forget!!!

It's Halloween-Time at Gardner Village!!!

There is just someting about Gardner Village in the fall that helps put you in the Halloween spirit.  Grandma Margaret joined us and we got some really great pictures of the kids.  We drug, a very reluctant, Jon along and I think he even had a nice time.  Plus he was a great photographer ;o).

Pony Rides!!!

Eden loved the ponys and loves looking at the pictures of herself on the pony!

Giddy-up!

This was Eden's first visit to a petting zoo.  We could hardly keep up with her as she ran from animal to animal. Two years old can be so fun!

A witch, an old hag, and Quinton!
